Mr. Green has over 39 years of technical and executive management experience in the oil and gas industry working in public and private companies with exposure both as a producer and a service provider. He founded, built, and sold two junior oil and gas companies prior to taking over the reins in 2008 at Niven Fischer Energy Services Inc., a professional services firm providing oil and gas asset management, evaluation, and due diligence. He was instrumental in building the brand, expanding the services, growing the company before it was sold to Sproule in 2017 where Mr. Green continued to lead the asset management business in addition to executive responsibilities under the Sproule banner as SVP Asset Management through to his retirement in June 2022. After retiring from Sproule, Mr. Green partnered with Alfred Fischer to form GreenFischer Solutions Inc., a consulting firm specializing in energy transition projects and technology. GreenFisher's inaugural projects focus on transitioning Athabasca bitumen to bitumen beyond combustion uses.
His key skills in leadership, business development, strategic planning, and financial, liability and risk management will drive the company's success in his role as CEO.
Mr. Fischer has over 55 years of experience in the management and operations of public and private companies. He served as CEO for multiple companies and as executive management advisor to several companies after retirement. Serial entrepreneur leading several teams through the start-up phase
Current position is senior advisor to 4 companies and currently active director on 8 companies. In his long industry tenure, he has been and is involved in a number of businesses on an executive and technical level, besides oil and gas, in areas of fuel technology, bitumen solidification, manufacturing, power generation, renewable energies, and transportation infrastructure.
After receiving his BComm with Distinction from the University of Calgary in 1991, Ken started his professional career with the accounting firm Collins Barrow in 1991. There he articled and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1993 including obtaining top 10 marks in Alberta on the Qualification Exam.
He then went onto stints with Ernst & Young Bermuda, TransCanada Energy and Kenway Mack CA's until 1998. These initial experiences gave Ken both diverse organizational experiences with medium sized accounting firms, a TSX 60 company and a Big Four public accounting firm plus broad, well-rounded training in the areas of accounting, finance, tax, organizational controls and overall business acumen.
Ken leads organizations to long term financial health and sustained profitability. Mr. Engler is a dedicated strategic partner, experienced financial executive and a leader with expertise in corporate strategy, business communication, project management, team building and technical financial skills.
In his role as CBO, Erik is responsible for aligning business strategies with market opportunities, overseeing business development activities, managing partnerships, marketing and support fund raising.
Erik is a results-focused professional offering 20 years of experience in project planning, execution and business development. He has founded several companies in the consulting, technology, retail, food services and investment sectors. As a believer in technology to accelerate progress in business, the last several years have focused in business development on Capital Construction and Facilities Maintenance projects in the power, infrastructure, mining, and oil & gas sectors. The projects focused on driving organizational efficiency through standardization, business process improvement, and technology alignment. Erik's experience has involved working with some of the largest companies in their sectors, including Exxon Mobil, Graham Construction, Aecon, and Cenovus Energy (formerly Husky Energy).
