Driving the transition TO bitumen beyond combustion uses

Athabasca Asphalt Company Ltd. (AAC) is a Canadian company working with industry, government, and Indigenous leaders to validate Athabasca bitumen for bitumen beyond combustion (BBC) uses like asphalt binder.

The project will involve an ecosystem of participants to supply Athabasca bitumen, transport, and complete QA/QC testing of the asphalt binder and test roads to prove the durability over time.
